We at Safe Dreams are committed to making the cot a safer place, providing parents with extra peace of mind.

Our first product, the Cot Wrap®, was created as a result of problems which founder Louise Guinda had while using a cot bumper with her newborn son.

"Before my son Ali was born I had bought a cot bumper as part of a coordinated bedding set. It looked lovely in the cot, stopped him from poking his arms and legs through the bars and kept in his dummy. But then one day I found him asleep with his face pressed right into the bumper. His face was a strange shade of blue and it was obvious that he wasn't getting enough oxygen. It was a very scary experience and I immediately removed the bumper.

However, Ali then started to wake up several times a night with his arm or leg stuck through the gaps between the cot bars. For months I searched for a cot bumper that was made from a breathable fabric so I wouldn’t have to worry about him burying his face into it. I was surprised to find that no such product was available in the UK despite the fact that many parents were having the same problem as me.

After over a year of product development and safety testing, the Cot Wrap® is now available, allowing parents to finally get a good nights sleep."
